Neil Braun, president and chief operating officer of Imagine Films Entertainment, said he would resign soon from the 16-month-old company when it moves its financial and administrative staff from New York to Los Angeles, consolidating operations.

No successor was named. Braun, 35, cited personal commitments for his decision to remain in New York. “Brian (Grazer, the company’s co-chairman) and his business people need to be under the same roof,” Braun said, explaining that Grazer oversees the company’s day-to-day development and production activities, while co-chairman Ron Howard concentrates on directing films.
