Mozambique Rebels Slain

MAPUTO, Mozambique — Government troops killed 68 rebels in recent fighting in central and southern Mozambique, the national news agency AIM reported Thursday. The Mozambique National Resistance rebels have been fighting a 10-year-old bush war to overthrow the Marxist government.
