Switzerland expelled three Libyans, including one with a diplomatic passport, charging that they were involved in a plot to assassinate Libyan dissidents and other foreigners. A Swiss government statement said the Libyans had been in the country for several days before police placed them in custody and put them on a plane bound for Tripoli. The statement said the Libyan with the diplomatic passport “is known as an officer of the Libyan intelligence service.”
