A popular Chinatown restaurant in San Francisco has been cited by the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration in connection with a propane gas tank explosion that sent 18 people to the hospital last month. Fines totaling $2,240 were levied against the Canton Tea House & Restaurant for six safety violations, including improper handling and storage of propane tanks used to heat dim sum food carts, the agency said.
