Ira Gribin of Encino Elected to Head National Realtors Association in 1989

Ira Gribin of Encino was elected 1988 president-elect of the National Assn. of Realtors during the 80th annual convention of the association here, putting him in line to head the organization in 1989.

He served as president of the San Fernando Valley Board of Realtors in 1970 and was president of the 100,000-member California Assn. of Realtors in 1976.

Nestor R. Weigand Jr., Wichita, Kan., was elected 1988 president of the 750,000-member trade group, succeeding William M. Moore of Denver. Weigand was 1974 president of the Wichita Board of Realtors and 1975 president of the Kansas Assn. of Realtors. Norman D. Flynn, Madison, Wis., was elected first vice president of the association. He was 1976 president of the Greater Madison Board of Realtors. He will serve as national president in 1990.
