Davis Resigns as Gelet Enterprises President

Howard Davis has resigned as president of Gelet Enterprises, parent company of the Numero Uno pizza chain in Woodland Hills, to start his own oil and gas leasing business. Davis, 32, said he will serve a three- to four-month apprenticeship at Brighton Industries, a marketer of oil and gas partnerships in Century City, before opening his own firm.

Ron Gelet, Numero Uno's founder and chief executive officer, will assume Davis' presidency.
