Postal Strike Continues

LONDON —
More than 6,000 postal workers defied their union and continued a 24-hour wildcat strike Thursday as talks resumed to try to avoid a Christmas mail strike. Post offices in some areas of England, Wales and Scotland were hit by the strike, called in support of postal employees’ demands for a shorter work week.
