Bombs Damage 50 Homes

LONDONDERRY, Northern Ireland —
Two time bombs exploded on doorsteps in a mainly Protestant housing project, killing one person, injuring 15 others and damaging 50 houses, police said today. They blamed the Irish Republican Army for Wednesday night’s attacks.
