Services Held for Architect, Sales Executive

Funeral services have been held for a prominent Southland architect and a building industry executive.

C. Day Woodford, 77, who retired in 1983, had been the principal partner of Woodford & Bernard Architects of Los Angeles and San Diego, a firm that traces its beginnings to 1894, when John Parkinson began his practice here and went on to become the dean of Southern California architects.

Woodford, a resident of Pauma Valley, died Dec. 8 of a heart attack. He and his second wife, Laura, would have celebrated their first wedding anniversary Dec. 16. He leaves two daughters, Pam Woodford and Wendy Depalo; a son, Ted, and two grandchildren.

Lee Antonello, 47, vice president-sales of Pardee Construction Co., suffered a heart attack Dec. 8 while on a Mammoth Lakes skiing holiday. He headed the firm’s sales projects in Los Angeles, Ventura and San Diego counties and was a resident of Las Vegas. He leaves his wife, Rose, and a daughter, Cathy.
