Cadbury Schweppes PLC, a British soft drink and confections group, said it has agreed to acquire the French chocolate maker Chocolat Poulain for about $173 million (950 million francs). Chocolat Poulain is a leading French chocolate manufacturer held by Midial S.A., a private food conglomerate based in Paris.
