Northrop Lands Air Force Contract of $49.3 Million
Northrop’s Newbury Park division has received a $49.3-million contract with the Air Force to manufacture equipment to test and mass produce components for the Tacit Rainbow anti-radar missile. The Tacit currently is under development at Northrop’s Newbury Park facility.
A Northrop spokesman said the contract would not result in any new jobs at its Newbury Park.
