Du Pont Co. settled two patent infringement lawsuits it filed earlier this year against Allied-Signal Inc. The chemicals manufacturer charged in the lawsuits that Morristown, N.J.--based Allied-Signal was selling thermoplastic polyester resins that violated two Du Pont patents.
