Chile’s military government accused the Reagan Administration of intruding in Chile’s internal affairs by suspending duty-free status for some imports because of the alleged suppression of labor union rights. The suspension affects about $60 million of Chile’s exports to the United States annually. Chile’s total exports are expected to reach $7 billion this year.
