Abraham Levy, who holds a patent for the cardboard shades used to shield auto dashboards, has licensed New World Services of Victoria, British Columbia, to be the exclusive manufacturer and distributor of his shades in Canada.

Levy’s Westlake Village company, Car Cool, does not produce the accordion-like shades but licenses other firms to make and market them. Levy claims his licensees have sold more than 25 million of the shades worldwide in the last three years.
