Santa Monica : Ad Campaign Wins Award

The Santa Monica Convention and Visitors Bureau has won the 1987 advertising award from the Western Assn. of Convention and Visitors Bureaus for its advertising campaign “Sea Life Our Way.”

The campaign, created by the Los Angeles agency Graham, Silberg, Warshaw & Sugarman, introduced the use of original art in resort advertising. It featured a surrealist painting by artist Jean-Francois Podevin.
