Gary R. Nelson has been named vice president/treasurer and chief financial officer of Fidelity National Financial, Irvine. He succeeds Steve McCartney, who resigned to pursue personal business interests in Arizona. Nelson comes to Fidelity National from Intercole Inc., a California holding company of diversified manufacturing businesses, where he was vice president and chief financial officer. Previously, he was chief financial officer of TFI Building Materials, a wholesale distributor of plumbing, electrical and appliance products. Nelson has also been an auditor with the CPA firm of Arthur Anderson & Co. Fidelity National issues title insurance policies and performs other title-related services through three subsidiaries.
