Fenner Finishes 3rd in Windsurfing Contest

Jayne Fenner of San Juan Capistrano finished third Saturday at the women’s national windsurfing competition in St. Petersburg, Fla.

Fenner, 16, finished behind Kathy Steele and Wendy Thompson in the two-day competition held at the St. Petersburg Yacht Club. The top three finalists qualify for the world windsurfing competition, to be held in Brazil at the end of February.
