Datron Systems Reports 93% Gain for 3rd Quarter

Datron Systems said its earnings increased 93% to $523,000, or 19 cents a share, in the third quarter ended Dec. 31 as its sales climbed 52% to $8.3 million.

The Simi Valley company attributed the results to strong sales of high-frequency radio products and satellite communications gear.

For the nine months, the defense electronics company’s earnings have increased 44% to $1.4 million, or 49 cents a share, with sales up 45% to $22.8 million.
