$4 Million Granted for Organ Transplant Studies

The University of Pittsburgh announced Tuesday that it has received more than $4 million from the National Institutes of Health for research in organ transplantation. Thomas E. Starzl, professor of surgery, said the five-year grant will pay for development of better anti-rejection drugs.
