Sunkist Growers Inc. says the 1986-87 marketing season recorded the highest revenue in the cooperative’s history at $853 million, $31 million higher than the previous year. Payments to members reached $613 million, just 1% below 1985’s record high earnings and a $21-million improvement over last year. Sunkist said the results were achieved despite adverse weather conditions and small fruit size.
