Italians Seize Heroin

MILAN, Italy —
Authorities seized nearly nine pounds of pure heroin in a crackdown on a drug trafficking ring that operated between Turkey and several Western European countries, police said Wednesday.
Three Turks and one Italian were arrested in the raid Tuesday on the outskirts of Milan. The investigation is continuing. The street value of the heroin was put at $4 million.
