Free Tax Help Offered

Free tax assistance is available on Saturdays for residents whose annual income is no more than $25,000, senior citizens age 60 or older, the disabled and those who speak Spanish only.

The assistance is offered at the Monrovia Public Library 321 S. Myrtle Ave., by volunteers from the American Assn. of Retired Persons and the Santa Anita Family Senior Center. Appointments may be made with Esther Reynoso at (818) 358-1185 Mondays through Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
