Opponents of the Occidental Petroleum oil drilling apparently find themselves unable to raise issues other than those already addressed to the satisfaction of the monitoring agencies.
Opponents always have the honest alternative of levying a special tax to buy the Oxy property for public use, testing whether or not the people are that incensed.
