Local News in Brief : Council Election Canceled

Share

An April election in Rolling Hills has been canceled and Councilmen Thomas F. Heinsheimer and Godfrey Pernell have been appointed to serve four more years in office because no one challenged them.

By law, the City Council can cancel the election and appoint candidates if they are running unopposed.

Heinsheimer, a business executive, has served on the council for 16 years. Pernell, a dentist, has been a councilman for 13 years.
