Local News in Brief : Garden Plots to Be Leased

The City of Lawndale has a limited number of 20-foot-square garden plots which can be leased for six months for $10, including water.

Lawndale residents will be given priority for the program, in which participants can harvest home-grown produce. Applications will be available March 7 through 31 at the Prairie Avenue Community Center, 15331 Prairie Ave.
