Two Irish Republican Army terrorists were killed when a bomb they were carrying went off prematurely outside a barn in Northern Ireland, police said. A statement from the outlawed IRA, which is fighting to oust Britain from the province, confirmed the casualties near the border village of Crossmaglen. Police and troops sealed off the area, and an army bomb disposal unit was called to examine the crater caused by the explosion. Two vans hijacked earlier in the day were destroyed in the blast.
