Papua New Guinea has expelled a British film crew, accusing them of planning to film outrageously untrue scenes as part of a feature film set in the South Pacific island state. The six-man team was lifted by police helicopter from a remote area, flown to Port Moresby by charter aircraft, held overnight in a hotel and placed on a flight to Brisbane on Sunday night, a government spokesman said. Government officials allege the group planned to stage scenes depicting tribal fighting and drunkenness and to highlight the contrast between rich and poor.
