Man, 73, Gets Prison for Stealing Foodstuff
A 73-year-old man described as a dangerous repeat offender was sentenced to 6 to 25 years in prison Thursday after he pleaded guilty to stealing Limburger cheese and other food from a grocery store.
Hairm Richardson entered the plea to a single count of aggravated robbery just before he was to go on trial on charges of aggravated robbery, felonious assault and possessing criminal tools. Prosecutors agreed to drop the other charges in exchange for the guilty plea.
Richardson, of Miamisburg, was accused of shoplifting two pounds of bacon, a sausage and a jar of Limburger cheese from a Franklin grocery store last October and then pulling a knife on a store employee.
