Local News in Brief : Costa Mesa : St. Paddy Pub ‘Crawl’ to Benefit Food Charity

Several establishments in or near South Coast Plaza are sponsoring a St. Patrick’s Day “crawl” Thursday to collect canned goods for Share Our Selves, which helps feed more than 19,000 county residents monthly.

To register for the pub crawl, participants should bring canned good to Alfredo’s Taverna, Bristol Bar & Grill, Brandon’s Lounge or the Red Lion Inn in Costa Mesa or to the Red Onion in Santa Ana from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday.

Area bars and restaurants, in addition to those listed above, that will offer specials for participants from 4 to 8 p.m. are: TGI Friday’s, El Torito Grill, Hudson’s Bar & Grill, Piret’s Bistro, Birraporetti, Gandhi Indian Cuisine, Barclay Inn and Maxi’s Lounge.
