Two bomb blasts rocked central Tokyo, one near the Israeli Embassy and the other outside the Saudi Arabian airline office, police said. There were no injuries in the blasts, which occurred 10 minutes apart on the east and south perimeters of the Imperial Palace grounds. According to police and news agency reports, the first bomb was hidden in a parked motorcycle, while the second bomb was in the trunk of a parked car. A police official said that radical leftists may have been responsible for the bombings.
