Quake Jolts Venezuela

CARACAS, Venezuela —
A tremor registering 4.8 on the Richter scale shook Caracas and eastern Venezuela on Tuesday. The Venezuelan Seismological Foundation said the tremor struck at 9:37 a.m. and that its epicenter was near the Caribbean resort of Puerto La Cruz, 150 miles east of the capital.
