Jailed Man Kills Self With 2 Ballpoint Pens

BURNABY, Canada —
An accused murderer killed himself while being held at a psychiatric institute by driving two ballpoint pens through his heart, a corner’s jury has ruled.
The jury in Vancouver, British Columbia, issued its findings Monday after pathologist Lindsay Sturrock testified on the Dec. 27 suicide of Allen Foster, 37, at the Forensic Psychiatric Institute in Coquitlam, a Vancouver suburb.
