Korean Air Lines has ordered six advanced-model 747-400 jumbo jets and placed options on four more planes in a deal worth more than $1.5 billion, Boeing Co. announced. The airline has also made public a previously unannounced $374-million order for a 747-300 and two 747-200 freighters to be delivered later this year. The package totals more than $1.9 million and includes spare parts and support, Boeing spokesman Tom Cole said.
