Ben Johnson to Run in Tokyo Track Meet

TOKYO —
Led by Canadian Ben Johnson, six track and field world record holders will compete in the Tokyo International Track and Field Meet in May.
Besides, Johnson, the 100-meter world record holder, others scheduled to attend are high jumper Patrik Sjoberg of Sweden; 110-meter hurdler Renaldo Nehemiah of the United States; pole vaulter Sergei Bubka of the Soviet Union; 100-meter sprinter Evelyn Ashford of the United States; and women’s high jumper Stefka Kostadinova of Bulgaria.
