Get Back, Ozymandias

Share

In your article “The House of Spelling” (by Jeannine Stein, April 8), I was appalled by the response from Spelling’s future neighbors. Whatever happened to the good-neighbor policy, or doesn’t that rule apply in Holmby Hills?

The neighbors should look around at what they already have and feel lucky, but instead they appear to be jealous and vindictive just because an individual has more than they do. This is a very selfish attitude and in my opinion shows how petty the well-to-do can be.

If any of these concerned citizens would like to give up their homes since the neighborhood is obviously going downhill with the monstrosity that’s being built, I’d be glad to move right in and live happily ever after.
