Pope Meets Tass Aide

VATICAN CITY —
Pope John Paul II on Saturday received an official of the Soviet news agency Tass in a brief private audience, the Vatican said. As is customary with private audiences, the Vatican did not say what was discussed during the 10-minute meeting with Anatoly A. Krasikov, a deputy director general of the news agency.
