Mark McMillin, a four-time winner of the Baja 1000 from Bonita, Calif., won the 21st annual Mint 400 off-road race Saturday over a wind-blown desert course.

It was the first time McMillin, who drove a Porsche-powered Chenowth single-seater, has won the Nevada race.

McMillin, the 1987 HDRA-SCORE Off-Road Series unlimited single-seat champion, covered four laps around the 100-mile desert course in 7 hours 46 minutes 16 seconds.
