Outboard Marine Buys Sea Nymph

Outboard Marine Corp. said Monday it has bought Sea Nymph Inc., a private boat manufacturer in Syracuse, Ind., for undisclosed terms.

Sea Nymph makes aluminium fishing, runabout and utility boats from 10 to 22 feet and pontoon boats up to 28 feet. It employs about 320 people.

The company is the sixth boat manufacturer to be acquired by Outboard Marine since December, 1986.
