The Goodwill Games, founded by Ted Turner and held for the first time two years ago in Moscow, will continue through at least 1998, it was announced at an international satellite news conference linking Moscow with several other cities, including Los Angeles, site of this week’s National Cable Television Assn. convention.

The 1990 games are set for Seattle, the 1994 competition will be held in the Soviet Union and the 1998 games in the United States.
