The Locker Hot Line

Share

The young and the restless live at a breakneck pace.

One minute Mark is going out with Julie, and the next he’s holding hands with Karen. Kurt is always getting in and out of trouble. Marcia’s so weird, no one knows what she’s thinking. It’s hard to keep up.

We’re not talking about a soap opera. We’re talking about high school, where gossip spreads through campus faster than the aroma of cafeteria meat loaf.

Morning break and lunch allow some time to catch up on the latest news, but classes keep getting in the way.

That’s where Express-It comes in. This nifty little answering machine is made to fit inside a school locker. While you’re taking a biology test, your best friend who has free period can stop by and leave work about what happened in P.E. that morning.

Express-It costs $20 at Toys R Us and comes with three pocket-sized whistles that activate the machine from outside the locker. More whistles can be ordered--anyone popular enough to require a device like this will probably need more than three.

Who knows? Mark might want to stop by and whisper a few sweet nothings.
