Inspection Begins on China-Nepal Border

BEIJING —
China and Nepal began a joint survey of their 840-mile border Thursday, the official New China News Agency said. It said the inspection, the first joint survey since 1978, was arranged at a meeting of officials of the two countries in Beijing in February and will be completed by the end of the year.
