225 Homes to Be Built on 80 Acres in Carlsbad

McKellar Development, La Jolla, has announced tentative plans to build 225 single-family detached houses in Carlsbad on about 80 acres, off Palomar Airport Road on College Boulevard, the firm recently purchased from Carlsbad Land Investors for $7.2 million. Prices for the houses are expected to range from $195,000 to $275,000.
