General Automation said it expects to report a pretax loss of about $500,000 for its third quarter ended March 31, attributing it to fluctuations in foreign currency exchange rates that cost the company about $300,000. The Anaheim computer company posted a pretax loss of $581,000 in the second quarter ended last December. General Automation said revenue will be about $13.6 million, up 26% from $10.8 million in the year-earlier quarter.
