Two Iranian factions clashed in Stockholm during a demonstration against Israel’s occupation of the West Bank and Gaza Strip, and three Iranians were stabbed, police said. Three men were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. The fighting broke out after about 40 demonstrators, some carrying pictures of Iran’s supreme leader, the Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, gathered in Stockholm’s central square to protest Israeli policy. A group of anti-Khomeini activists arrived, and the rival groups shouted slogans at each other, then began fighting.
