British Group to Buy Dryclean USA

Dryclean USA Inc., a large retail dry cleaning operator, said it has agreed to be acquired by London-based Johnson Group Cleaners PLC for $29.6 million.

Dryclean USA operates 76 dry cleaning shops in Florida and franchises more than 150 shops in Florida and several other states.

Johnson Group Cleaners operates more than 700 dry cleaning stores in Britain and its U.S. subsidiary, Johnson Group Inc., is a holding company with more than 200 dry cleaning stores in the Midwest, Southeast and Nevada.
