Fullerton Schedules Football Game at Georgia

Cal State Fullerton, which has gained a reputation for playing big-money road games against big-name football teams, will play the University of Georgia at Athens, Ga., on Sept. 28, 1991, Athletic Director Ed Carroll announced Tuesday.

Although Carroll would not comment on the amount of the guarantee Fullerton will earn for the game, it is believed to be more than $200,000, the amount Fullerton earned in games against Louisiana State and Florida last season.

Fullerton lost to Louisiana State, 56-12, and to Florida, 65-0.
