Toyota Motor Co., the world’s third-largest auto maker, opened its first U.S. assembly plant with production of a white 1989 Camry sedan. The 3.7-million-square-foot plant, about 20 miles north of Lexington in Georgetown, Ky., marks the fourth U.S. assembly plant built by a Japanese auto maker.
