I want to congratulate you on “Confessions of a Steroid Smuggler,” by John Eisendrath (April 24). The Los Angeles County Medical Assn. Sports Medicine Committee has been publicizing the adverse effects of anabolic steroids on our young healthy adults for several years. Articles such as yours will go a long way toward preventing further drug abuse.
