William A. Parks has been named president of Hamilton Beach, a manufacturer of small appliances with headquarters in Waterbury, Conn. Parks previously was executive vice president of Duraco Inc., Edgewater, N.J. He had been vice president-marketing of Hamilton Beach until January, 1988. John J. Flaherty, president, has resigned from Hamilton Beach.
