The University of Judaism held its 38th annual commencement Sunday. Degrees were conferred on 24 students, including 20 who received graduate degrees.
Keynote Speaker: Dr. Louis Shub, James H. Rudi Jacobson adjunct professor of political sociology and director of the Ostrow Library on campus.
Honorary Degrees:
Norman H. Lee, retired industrialist and philanthropist.
Emil Jacoby Ph.D., executive director of the Bureau of Jewish Education of Los Angeles.
Rabbi Sheldon J. Weltman, Temple B’nai Hayim, Sherman Oaks.
